Fashion Cognoscenti is based in beautiful and sunny San Diego, California and is owned and operated by me, a woman.

My company was started with the aim of providing today's young, confident and upwardly mobile, single woman a place where she can find items of fashion that allows her to freely and stylishly express her individualism and her sexuality without spending oodles of cash.

As a mother of two beautiful young girls, I have always been interested in fashion and style and strongly felt that there was a need for cool sportswear and accessories that will enable today's successful and assertive young women to subtly but stylishly make a statement through their clothes.

For my business, I chose the name Fashion Cognoscenti because

a) I have always loved the word Cognoscenti, which has its origin in Italian, a language that is very dear to me, and

b) 'cause I dig its meaning: People who have a refined and superior knowledge of a subject, especially the arts!

We have been in business now for about a couple of years and the response to our initial line of sexy activewear tops has been nothing short of overwhelming. These very casual, comfortable and sexy form fitting tees with various, beautifully printed messages on super soft 95% combed ringspun cotton fabric with 5% Lycra stretch for a superbly comfortable fit, can be worn with miniskirts, jeans or shorts. I believe, and I hope you will agree, that these messages really help express to the world, our independence and sexuality with both style and verve and are perfect for a girl to wear while clubbing or dining out with friends.
